This shape can look tougher than the day calls for. Light brown takes the edge off completely, and lightweight faux suede keeps it comfortable from morning meetings to evening plans. With jeans, a slip dress or tailored trousers, it reads polished rather than loud.

Excellent
The shipping was fast, no delays whatsoever. Jacket fits good, in 5'5 154 lbs for reference. Wish it was a bit more tapered going down the waist, other than that I have no complaints.

Quick tour of the details. Lapels: notched, with snaps to hold the points flat. Front: an off-centre zip that's easy to work one-handed. Cuffs: zipped, so you can open them over gloves. Waist: tailored, which is what makes it look smart. The colour is a light caramel and the texture is soft. Wear it most days for work and weekends.
Never had a moto cut before and worried it'd look like a costume, yet this caramel faux suede is gentle and wearable: an angled zipper that flatters, poppers pinning down each notch point, shaping at the middle so nothing hangs boxy, and I wore it for day one at a new job in Seattle feeling calm and confident.
first jacket like this ive ever had, before that i basically lived in puffers and hoodies which always made me look like i was off to football practice. this is a different level, theres real shaping through the middle, a zipper running sideways across the front that looks so cool, and lapel tips which snap down so they dont flap. light for my walk to uni and doesnt crease. feel like a proper grown up now. mum keeps trying to nick it
Small gripe up front: the cuff zips were stiff for the first few days and I had to work them a bit. They've loosened now. Otherwise it's a strong addition to my Decrum collection, with a shaped waist, neat snapped lapels and a lovely warm sand colour. More relaxed than my other two from them. Four, not five, for the zip faff.
For our anniversary I went hunting for something softer and more polished than the tired corduroy jacket my wife has worn since college. Ordered on a Monday, arrived the following week in a neat box. The waist shaping and angled zip suit her, and she likes that the collar points snap down. She's worn it to two dinners already. Good call, if I say so.
Gentlemen buying for a girlfriend, a word of advice: get the warm brown if she wears gold jewellery, it sets it off. I learned that by accident. Also, wrap it in something nice, the box it came in was plain, and the courier left it behind our recycling bin in the rain, so I nearly had a heart attack, though the parcel was dry inside. She wears it zipped crooked, which is the point of the off-centre zip apparently. She also loves the snaps under the lapel tips. The dog tried to lie on it twice. Tip: keep a lint brush near the hook. It's been her favourite since.
Two months of daily use, so here's the practical bit. Keys and cardholder go in my crossbody since there aren't obvious big pockets to rely on, which is fine. On mild mornings I wear it over a fine-knit jumper; when it drops near freezing I swap to my wool coat. The zipped wrists are brilliant when I'm cycling to work, no breeze up the arm. Travelled to Lisbon with it rolled in hand luggage and it shook out uncreased. Docked a star: the dog's fur clings to the nap and needs a lint roller.
about 5 weeks now. wore it pretty much every other day. zip still runs smooth, the lapel snaps havent loosened at all, and the nap looks the same as day one after a quick brush. only thing id change, an inside pocket for my phone would be nice. otherwise its my go to, esp for errands and dinner
Tissue paper, then a dust bag, then this lovely sand-coloured thing folded inside. I'd only seen it in an Instagram reel and expected it to feel thin. It doesn't. The nap is dense and soft under the palm. First trip out was a Saturday brunch in Brooklyn, zipped halfway with the lapel snaps done. Two people asked where it came from.
Light brown takes the edge off this shape completely, it reads polished rather than tough. The snap down lapels and off centre zip still give it character. It's soft, light, and sits well over both a jumper and a thin top. Wore it to dinner and got asked about it twice.
Been after a lighter coloured jacket for ages and this one fits the bill. The shade is warm and works beautifully with cream and camel. Shaping at the waist stops it looking boxy. The fabric has a lovely soft nap that doesn't feel plasticky at all.
was worried a lighter biker would look too casual next to my other decrum one, which is black and quite sharp. nope. this has the same clean lines, the slanted zip, the little snapped lapels, and the waist is properly shaped. just softer and more daytime. i wear it for coffee and school pickup now and save the black for nights out. good pair
Rarely write reviews but this one earned it. Light, soft, well cut and the colour is gorgeous in daylight. The three outside pockets are actually usable rather than sewn shut like some jackets I've bought. It has quickly become my favourite thing to wear.
Sharp. Soft. Light. Bought it Tuesday, wore it Wednesday. Office, then gym, then Tesco. Diagonal zip looks considered. Little snaps keep the lapel flat. Wrist zips are handy. Waist is shaped, so no shapeless sack. Colour? Biscuit, warm, easy. No break-in needed either. Already reaching for it daily.
Started with the collar, because that's what you see first: notch lapels, and each point has a tiny popper underneath so it lies neat. Then the zip, which crosses the chest on a slant and runs without catching. The sleeves end in zips too, useful when I'm washing my hands at work. And there's a definite waist to it, not a straight box. I wore it to my niece's christening in Surrey, where the vicar talked for forty minutes and the church heating was off, so I was grateful for it. Colour's a soft camel. Rain held off, mostly.
had a cheap stretchy moto jacket from a high street shop for years, it pilled at the elbows, the zip broke twice and it always looked kinda shiny under lights. this one is miles ahead. the nap is matte and soft, no weird sheen, and the side zip actually glides. the snapped down collar points keep it neat, my old one flopped everywhere. it also has shape at the waist, which the old one totally didnt. colour is a toasty tan, goes with my white jeans AND black ones. honestly should have upgraded ages ago
Wore it to my friend's engagement drinks at a rooftop bar in Manchester. Evening went from sunny to windy fast. Zipped it up diagonally, closed the wrist zips, and stayed cosy while everyone else shivered. Someone spilled a bit of prosecco on my sleeve, which dabbed off. Lost a star because the shade's slightly lighter than the photos. Still, great night in it.
This is my third order from Decrum, so I knew roughly what to expect from their finishing. What I didn't have was anything in a lighter, softer texture for spring. My two others are dark and quite structured, and I'd been wearing an old denim jacket on in-between days that had lost all its shape. A friend suggested trying their faux suede range, and the biker cut appealed because it isn't as casual as a bomber. Delivery to Glasgow took about a week, tracked throughout. Inside, a dust bag and no odd smell. The details won me over. Snaps pin the lapel tips flat, the asymmetric zip runs cleanly, zipped cuffs close neatly at the wrist, and the waist is shaped so it nips in rather than hanging straight. The shade is a gentle camel that goes golden in sunlight. Verdict: different mood to my other two, equally well made.
This is the jacket I take when I'm not sure how the day will go. It's smart enough for a lunch and relaxed enough for errands afterwards. Zip cuffs are a small detail but they keep the sleeves neat. It arrived quickly and was well packed.
If you're shopping for a partner and dithering, here's my two pence after buying one for my wife. Pick it if she leans warm-toned. The fawn-brown sits beautifully with cream, olive and denim, less so with grey. Second, treat the nap gently: a clean soft brush every so often keeps it even, and a damp cloth deals with a splash. Third, think about occasions. That diagonal front zip and fitted middle make it smart enough for dinner out, yet she wears it for park walks too. She's had it on most weekends since her birthday and keeps saying it's lighter than she expected. Easy win.
10/10 would grab again tbh. why: its light enough to wear in the office without sweating, the zip goes across at an angle so it looks way more styled than a basic jacket, and the waist pulls in so i actually have a shape lol. the lapel snaps are a cute detail nobody expects. color is like a warm sand. wear it to work w/ trousers and loafers, on weekends with leggings and sneakers. got stuck in a sprinkle walking to the train and it was FINE after drying. lives on my chair at work now, no regrets
My neighbour stopped me on the stairs to ask if it was vintage, which made my morning. I'd seen it in a Facebook ad and honestly assumed microsuede would look flat or plasticky in real life. Wrong. The surface has a soft, slightly brushed depth that catches light differently from every angle, and the shade is a warm fawn. What sold me in person: the lapels have little snaps that hold the tips down so they never curl, and the zipped wrists let me close them over a watch or open them to push sleeves up. Wore it to a farmers market in Austin and felt pulled together. The ad was right for once.
Gift for my daughter who had been sending screenshots of it for weeks. She opened it and put it on immediately. She's told me twice how light it is compared to her old one. The colour matched the pictures well and the finish looks neat.
Lovely jacket and I've worn it a lot already. Four stars because the lighter shade shows marks more easily than a dark one would, so I'm careful with it. Otherwise the shape, weight and finish are all good. It has held up fine to daily wear so far.
So I bought this on a Sunday night after a week of meetings back to back and figured if I hated it I'd just wear it to the grocery store, but it turns out the cinched waistline does a lot of work, it gives a proper shape over a plain black knit dress and keeps things from looking boxy, and the off-center zipper means I can leave it half open on warmer afternoons without it flapping around, I've worn it to a client lunch in Midtown, a dentist appointment and my book club and got asked about it twice, the sandy brown reads expensive under office lighting too.
