The motorcycle-style leather jacket for women kept its shape long after it left the road: a front zip that folds back into wide lapels, zip cuffs, a close cut through the body and, on many styles, a belt at the waist. Ours keep that shape in a lighter lambskin made for city wear, so the jacket works over a slip dress as easily as over a hoodie.
Cropped or classic length
This is the decision that matters more than colour. A cropped biker jacket stops at the natural waist and works over high-waisted jeans, midi skirts and dresses, lengthening the leg because it ends where your waist does. A classic length sits on the hip and reads a little softer and more casual; it is the easier one over longer tops and knitwear.

The cafe racer style jacket is the quieter version, with a straight centre zip, small collar and no lapels, and it is the one to pick if the biker jacket feels like too much.
