Harrington Jacket for Women: Cropped or Classic Length
Several of the jackets here finish above the hip rather than on it. That sounds like a small change and it isn't. A cropped Harrington ends where a high-waisted trouser or skirt begins, so nothing gets cut in half and your leg line stays long.
The full-length versions do the opposite job. They cover the hip, sit close at the waist and read a little more traditional. Worth deciding which you want before you pick a colour, because it changes what the jacket goes with more than the colour does.

A soft shirt collar instead of lapels, a zip that runs straight to the neck, and a short body. Depending on the piece the cuffs are snap-adjusted, zip-adjusted or left open. How It Sits Against the Other Shapes
The collar is what separates it. A women's leather biker jacket has lapels and a belt and reads much harder. A women's leather trucker jacket shares the shirt collar but buttons up and sits boxier.
