Snap buttons instead of a zip is what caught my eye and they feel properly sturdy, not the flimsy kind that pop open. The striped ribbing at the collar gives it a retro feel without looking like a costume. Black keeps it wearable with everything I own. It's light enough that I forget I have it on.
