I already own a brown Decrum bomber, and I wanted something lighter and more casual for spring and early fall weekends. Ordering was simple, and the package showed up in roughly a week and a half, slower than my first order but fine. Out of the box, the olive tone was very slightly more muted than the website photos, that's my only knock. Everything else lands well: crisp snap stand collar, cuffs that zip snug, adjustable side buckles and silver metal pieces that feel weighty. Compared with my bomber it's slimmer and more streamlined. A solid four.

Having picked up a black biker from Decrum last winter I knew roughly what to expect on build quality, but this olive cafe racer is a different animal altogether, lighter, softer to the touch and far more relaxed in feel, which is exactly what I wanted for weekends in the Peak District and pints afterwards, and the one thing holding it back from full marks is a new-fabric smell for the first few days that hung around the hallway, gone now though, and since then I've had nothing but compliments on the colour, which goes earthy and almost brown in low autumn light.

Five weeks of near-daily wear now, so here's a proper update. The olive hasn't faded where my bag strap rubs, and a quick brush brings the nap back up after a drizzly walk to the station. Silver hardware still looks bright, nothing loose. If I could tweak one thing I'd make the collar popper a touch easier to undo with cold fingers. Otherwise it has become my default autumn layer over a grey jumper.

needed something between a hoodie and my heavy parka for fall, my old canvas jacket finally ripped at the shoulder seam so it was time. found this one on a search, ordered on my lunch break, took about a week to show up which was fine. first impressions: the microsuede feels really nice, not plasticky at all, and the snap collar and silver zips look more expensive than i figured. no break-in either, wore it out the same evening. bottom line its exactly the in-between layer i was missing and i dont have to baby it

First jacket like this I've owned. Light. Should be warm enough for October. Color is a deep olive, not khaki. Snaps on the collar feel solid. Buckles on the sides are a nice touch. One knock: the shade looks a bit darker indoors than in the product shots. Not a dealbreaker. Wearing it twice a week already. Good stuff.

Packaging was a bit squashed when the courier handed it over, so I braced myself, but the garment inside was fine and neatly folded. Lifting it out, I was struck by how light it felt, and by the colour: a deep, slightly smoky olive that changes with the light. The nap is soft and velvety, and the silver zips on the cuffs catch the eye. First jacket like this I've had, having lived in fleeces till now. Took it out that evening for a curry with mates in Leeds and felt smarter than usual without trying. Small niggle on the box aside, top marks.

Dad's had the same tired waxed coat since the nineties. Bought him this for his 70th to give him something lighter. Night and day: where the old one was heavy and smelt of the shed, this is light, clean, and the olive shade is a nod to his old favourite without looking dated. He was chuffed with the buckled sides. Now wears it for church and walks.

Bought it for my husband. Quick review, kids are yelling. He wears it constantly. Olive is gorgeous. Very light. Side buckles look sharp. Snaps on the collar click shut firmly. Lost a star because shipping dragged a little, nine days. Our dog sniffs it every time he walks in, no idea why. Anyway. Great jacket.

short version: great everyday jacket, minus one thing. my husband has worn this pretty much daily since it showed up, mostly to work (hes a contractor so its office days and site visits) and on weekends running errands. reasons it works for him: its light, it doesnt need any special treatment, and the olive green hides dust way better than his black one did. the snap collar stays put in wind, which he says his old one NEVER did. the minus: the new smell lingered for maybe 4 or 5 days, we hung it in the garage and it cleared. also wish the silver hardware came in a matte option but thats just me being picky. he wears it to the hardware store, to church, to our sons games. solid buy

zip on the left cuff was a bit stiff for the first few days, had to wiggle it. sorted itself out after a week of use. thats literally my only moan. the colour is spot on, proper olive, the buckles look smart and its so light i forget im wearing it on the tube. full marks, its earned them

For years my son wore a thick, boxy canvas work coat that swallowed him whole and never really looked like anything. This olive cafe racer is the opposite. It's trim, lightweight and clean-lined, with a snap stand collar instead of a floppy one, so he looks put-together even with sneakers. The old one also went stiff in the rain; this microsuede stays soft and recovers after a shower, as long as you brush it once it's dry. He loves that it needed no break-in. The only small gripe was that the packaging arrived crumpled at one corner, though nothing inside was harmed. He's in college and says three friends have already asked about it, which coming from him is a rave. Five stars because the actual product deserves it.

coworker literally said 'ok who are you trying to impress' the first day i wore this lol. honestly nobody, its just comfortable. the green is SO good, kind of a dark army shade, and it goes with basically every pair of jeans i own. zip cuffs are clutch when its windy. the side buckles i keep loose. wear it most days now, no complaints

Delivery took the best part of nine days, longer than I'd hoped as it was meant for my brother's 40th. Arrived the morning of, cutting it fine. Typical, the van got stuck behind roadworks on our lane too. Gripe over though, because he loves it. The olive suits his colouring, the popper collar feels sturdy and he liked the silver detailing. Says it's comfier than his fleece.

Box opened, tissue peeled back, and the first thing I noticed was the colour, a properly earthy olive, deeper than the moss tone I'd pictured. Ran a hand over the nap and it felt like velvet. This is my third Decrum piece and easily the most relaxed of the lot next to my two biker styles. First outing was a Saturday wander round Borough Market, mild and grey, and it was just right.

If you're torn between olive and a safer neutral, go olive. I almost picked something plain and I'm glad I didn't. This green plays well with denim of any wash, with grey, with cream, even with a navy sweater, so it ends up being the most flexible thing hanging by my door. Second tip: get a cheap suede brush. Brushing in one direction keeps the surface even and lifts out dust from the car seat. Third, don't overthink the occasion. I've worn it to a farmers market, a hockey game and a gallery opening and it looked right every time, mainly because the stand collar and silver snaps keep the silhouette tidy instead of slouchy. It's animal-free too, which mattered to my partner. Zero break-in period either.

My worry beforehand was simple: would a green coat look too much on my husband, who basically lives in navy? I needn't have fretted. When it arrived for his birthday he pulled it on over a plain white T-shirt and the colour looked earthy and understated rather than loud. He's since worn it on a walk along the canal, to his brother's for Sunday lunch and on the school run, and keeps reaching for it before his old raincoat. The microsuede has a lovely velvety texture, and I like that it's animal-free, which was another thing I'd wondered about. Small things he's pointed out himself: the buckle adjusters at each side, the zip cuffs he does up when cycling, and the silver poppers on the collar. Honestly, I'd half expected it to sit in the wardrobe. Instead he's asked whether there's another colour too.

Ordered on a Monday, had it by the following week and it went straight into rotation, mostly over black jeans and boots for client lunches downtown, and what keeps it in heavy use is how little it asks of me, no conditioning, no worrying about rain spots, a soft brush once in a while and that's it, plus the green reads more grown-up than I expected, kind of an army-surplus tone but cleaner, and the zipped cuffs close up nicely around a watch so nothing catches, which matters when you're shaking hands all day.

Second Decrum purchase for me, after a black bomber, and honestly this one gets worn more. Mornings around fifty degrees I throw it over a henley; colder days a thin hoodie fits underneath fine. Rode the train to Philly with it folded in my backpack and it came out without creases. Easy care is real, I just brush it once a week. Way more casual vibe than the bomber.

Brilliant buy, no two ways about it. Saw it pop up on TikTok of all places, some lad styling it with cords, and assumed it'd look cheap in real life. It doesn't. The shade is a rich, mossy green, the surface feels soft without being fluffy, and those little side buckles give it a proper racer shape. Postman left it with next door, who then went on holiday for two days, so that was a saga. Anyway. I wear it to the pub, to my daughter's football on Saturdays and once to a work do, where it got a nod from the boss.

Bought this to wear on cooler evenings and it has been ideal. Sits close to the body without restricting the shoulders, which is where most fitted jackets go wrong for me. The collar tab snaps down so nothing flaps about. Finish is dry and matte with no gloss to it.

Men's Olive Green Faux Suede Cafe Racer Jacket

Olive works better than I expected on this cut, it takes the hard edge off the racer shape. The panel stitching across the shoulders is the detail that makes it look considered rather than plain. Zip cuffs and side buckles mean I can tighten it up when it's breezy. Light enough to wear all evening.

Gift for my boyfriend who is very particular about jackets. He checked the stitching first thing, which is his habit, and said it was clean. He has worn it out three times in the first week. He also liked that the back hem curves rather than cutting straight across.

Men's Olive Green Faux Suede Cafe Racer Jacket

Never ordered a jacket online before and was half expecting to send it straight back. It came looking like the listing photos, right down to the hardware tone. The material is soft with a bit of texture and it has stayed looking sharp after a few wears. No regrets on this one.

Wore it to my buddy's backyard rehearsal dinner last Friday. Chinos, white oxford, this café racer on top. Temperature dropped after sunset and it kept the chill off without making me sweat near the fire pit. Two people asked where it came from. Light enough that I just hung it on a chair while we ate, no wrinkles afterward. Exactly what I needed for evening stuff.

Men's Olive Green Faux Suede Cafe Racer Jacket

What I like is how little it weighs for how structured it looks. Stand collar holds up, the waist buckles let me set it once and forget it, and the zips run clean. Wore it to dinner and then to a match the next day, it handled both. Quietly become my default jacket.

Men's Olive Green Faux Suede Cafe Racer Jacket

Good bit of kit and the colour is spot on. Marked down one star because the zip needed a bit of easing in the first couple of days before it ran freely. Since then no bother at all. Plenty of pockets, and the chest ones are useful when I'm not carrying a bag.

Men's Olive Green Faux Suede Cafe Racer Jacket

An Instagram ad kept showing me this thing, so I finally caved. Starting up top, that snap stand collar sits flat and neat, no flopping around. Zips at each wrist let me push sleeves up when driving. Side buckle adjusters pull the waist in a little for a cleaner line over a tee. And silver metal against olive microsuede looks way sharper in person than on my phone screen.
