I ordered this on impulse and considering the price my expectations weren't all that high. After receiving it and trying it on I have to say that I'm impressed. This is a quality jacket. It's nicely lined and has plenty of pockets. It's packaged well and came without any sort of wrinkles. The faux suede might be a bit more shiny than actual suede, but it's pretty darn good. If you're looking for a good looking, nice quality jacket at a decent price, you can't go wrong.
Detail by detail, since that's how I shop. Up top, a knitted rib collar, soft against my neck, no itch. Matching ribbed wrists stop sleeves creeping when I reach for the luggage rack on the 7:40 into Waterloo. The hem band is the same knit and keeps a neat blouson silhouette. Front zipper runs cleanly. Hands and keys go in a pair of exterior slits, and inside there are three more compartments, generous for something this slim; phone, card holder, earphones. Material is a pale tan microsuede with a gentle nap, remarkably light, so it's carried me from early autumn toward the first real frost. Upkeep: weekly brush. Four, not five, because that pale shade shows scuffs whenever something rubs it, so smoothing the nap becomes routine. Hardly a dealbreaker, merely worth knowing.

Parcel arrived on a grey Tuesday in Leeds, the kind where it rains sideways and the postman looked like he'd swum here.
