After a rainy walk home I did get a few water spots across the shoulders, which gave me a moment of panic, but they dried out completely overnight and you would never know. That is the only critical thing I can say. The rest of it has been excellent, the colour is richer than the listing photos and the snaps close cleanly every time. I bought it because I wanted one nice thing after a brutal work year, and it has done exactly that job. I paid roughly half of what the department store wanted for something similar looking.

Autumn is the whole reason I bought it and it has been the right call. Mornings here are damp and cold and this handles both without turning into a heavy coat by lunchtime. Getting this was a bit of a no-brainer given how well the last one has held up. My first from here is nearly a year old now and still looks like it did in the first month, so the second was an easy decision. The dark brown on this style is deeper than I expected and has a lovely even nap right across the shoulders and back. It is light in a way that makes the older heavy jackets in my wardrobe feel like punishment. There is no fuss to looking after it, which matters when you are out five days a week. My wife borrowed it once and now hovers whenever I leave it on the chair. I have not seen anything close at this price anywhere on the high street.
