Men's Black Faux Suede Hooded Bomber Jacket

Turns out I have been overpaying for jackets my whole adult life. This is lighter, softer and better looking than the one it replaced, which cost three times as much. The hood alone has earned its keep in a wet spring.

This does pick up lint from a dark jumper, which I noticed within a day, but a brush across the shoulders sorts it in seconds. Everything else has been excellent. The hood sits properly, the black is deep and even and the surface has a lovely soft nap. It has kept me warm on the school run all through February without any bulk. Compared with the department store version at more than twice the price I am very happy.

Warm without being heavy was the whole brief and this has delivered it. The hood is a proper one that stays put and the black is deep and even. It is soft to the touch and there is no shine to the surface at all. I have worn it in drizzle a few times and it dried out with no marks. The high street version was stiffer, heavier and a good deal dearer.

Second order from here after the brown one held up so well through the winter. This one has the hood, which I wanted for the walk between the car park and the office. The black is deep and the surface has a soft matte nap that has not gone shiny anywhere. It is much lighter than any hooded jacket I have owned before. I paid about half of what I had allowed and have been wearing it daily since.

Sister has been after a hooded jacket in black for about two years and never found one she liked. This one she has not taken off. Went for this over the plain bomber because I wanted the hood for the dog walks, and that has been the right choice. It cuts the wind and keeps the drizzle off without any bulk to it. The black is deep and the surface soft with a fine matte nap. There is no care routine, which is ideal given what I put it through. I paid about half of what I had budgeted.
