Trips to see clients are what this was bought for and it has done rather more than that. It looks smart enough over a shirt and relaxed enough over a jumper. The ribbed collar and cuffs give it shape without any stiffness. It is light on the shoulders and there was nothing to break in. The high street equivalent was nearly double and heavier on the hanger.

Regular wear five days a week is what this has had since March and it looks untouched. The ribbed collar, cuffs and hem still hold their shape. The light brown has a warm depth in daylight and the surface has not gone shiny at the elbows. It is warm without any bulk, which suits my commute. I had put aside twice what it cost.

Barely anything on the shoulders is the first thing you notice and it is what keeps me reaching for it. It does pick up lint from a dark jumper, which I noticed within a day, but thirty seconds with a brush lifts the pile and it looks new again. Beyond that I have no complaints. The light brown is warmer and deeper than the photos and the ribbing is neat. The high street version I had tried on was stiffer and a good deal dearer.

New addition to a growing collection, since this is my third from here and the first two have held up. The light brown is warm and even and the ribbing is neatly done. It is much lighter than it looks and there was nothing to break in. Care has been a brush every so often and nothing else. Nothing on the high street comes close at this money.

Pale brown is what I expected and it arrived a good deal warmer and deeper than that, which took some getting used to. The jacket itself is soft and light and the ribbing is fine. It has been perfectly comfortable, though it has not become a favourite, and for what it cost I think that is fair.

Ideal for someone avoiding animal materials who still wants something that looks properly made. The nap is fine and matte rather than glossy and the whole jacket drapes rather than standing off the body. The ribbing at the collar, cuffs and hem is neat and holds its shape. I have worn it to work and out in the evening and it has been right for both. What I paid was a long way under what I had feared spending.

Handed this to my son for his birthday with fairly low expectations, since the last three things I bought him went straight into a drawer. He has worn it every day since. The light brown suits him far better than the black he usually goes for. The ribbed collar, cuffs and hem give it a proper shape rather than hanging off him. He keeps saying how light it is, which was not something I had thought about. The surface is soft with a fine matte nap and no shine to it.
