This is the bomber shape that came out of flight jackets: waist length, ribbed at the collar, cuffs and hem, nothing hanging past the hip. What carries it is the colour. Hand-waxed cognac against black rib is warm and deliberately uneven, so the jacket holds some depth instead of reading as one flat block.

100% real lambskin, hand-waxed in cognac, lined in soft polyester. Front zip, rib-knit collar and cuffs. Six pockets: two outside, two inside, a zip pocket on the sleeve and one for a phone. Sizes XS to 3XL.

The wax is worked into the leather by hand rather than sprayed on, so the colour sits unevenly by design. Seams and edges hold less of it and read lighter, folds hold more and go darker. That contrast grows the more the jacket moves, which is why a waxed jacket looks better in its third season than in its first.

What is the leather and how is the cognac colour made?
100% real lambskin, hand-waxed to a cognac brown. The wax is worked into the hide rather than sprayed on, so the tone shifts slightly across the panels, and the inside is finished with a soft polyester lining.
When would I actually wear this jacket?
Autumn and spring commuting, dinners and bars in the evening, and weekend travel where you want one jacket for the whole trip. The ribbed collar and cuffs shut out wind on cold, dry days.
How do I care for a waxed finish?
Wipe marks off with a dry or barely damp cloth and let it dry away from heat. Do not machine wash and do not dry clean. Store it on a broad hanger with room around it so the wax does not press flat against other clothes.
How many pockets does it have?
Six. Two on the outside, two inside, a zip pocket on the sleeve and a dedicated phone pocket, so keys, cards and a phone each have their own place.
BLACK RIB, COGNAC WAX

BLACK RIB, COGNAC WAX

Black rib-knit at the collar against a hand-waxed cognac body, which is where the flight jacket got its look. That contrast is what stops a bomber from reading as plain brown outerwear.

POCKETS THAT SIT FLAT

POCKETS THAT SIT FLAT

Welt hand pockets set into the panel rather than patched on top, so nothing interrupts the line. Six in total: two outside, two inside, a zip pocket on the sleeve and one for a phone.

RIB CUFFS, SEALED SLEEVE

RIB CUFFS, SEALED SLEEVE

The knit cuffs close around the wrist and keep the sleeve from riding up when you drive or reach. Wax catches on the elbow first, so the jacket starts telling your story there.
